For the final recital of my Fall 2014 Midwest tour, I and pianist Ellen Bottorff will present a program of works for unaccompanied clarinet and clarinet with piano by Guastavino, Saint-Saëns, Cage, Piazzolla and Magnani. The Flint Hills Messiah Chorus and Chamber Orchestra traces its roots to the late 1980's when the KANZA conference of the United Methodist Church organized an ecumenical performance of 'Messiah' three times before the Wamego Council of Churches and a steering committee of volunteers from the area took the reins of the organization in 1991 and named it The Flint Hills Messiah Chorus. The all volunteer chorus has gathered each year since, except 2000, to perform portions of 'Messiah' during the Easter season.

South Milwaukee Performing Arts Center

I will augment the 484th Army Band for their annual Spring concert at the South Milwaukee Performing Arts Center. The guest soloist is the esteemed Alpin Hong, who will perform Gershwin's "Rhapsody in Blue."

Graham Tyler Memorial Chapel, Park University

The season finale is always an exciting concert. This year it will include Sibelius’ Finlandia, Op. 26, and Schumann’s Symphony No. 4 in D minor, Op. 120.

I will collaborate with Chad Payton, countertenor and Mary-Elizabeth Meyer to perform Jason Charney's "Three Poems of Vladimir Nabokov" for the University of Kansas' spring composer's guild concert.

United Methodist Church

The Flint Hills Messiah Chorus and Chamber Orchestra traces its roots to the late 1980's when the KANZA conference of the United Methodist Church organized an ecumenical performance of 'Messiah' three times before the Wamego Council of Churches and a steering committee of volunteers from the area took the reins of the organization in 1991 and named it The Flint Hills Messiah Chorus. The all volunteer chorus has gathered each year since, except 2000, to perform portions of 'Messiah' during the Easter season.

Graham Tyler Memorial Chapel, Park University

The Philharmonia and the Kansas City Youth Ballet will join forces for this concert. The program will include Prokofiev’s Peter and the Wolf and Ravel’s Mother Goose Suite.

Music Center Recital Hall, Concordia University

I'll be collaborating with Jessica Lindsey (New Music Agency, formerly on the faculties of Concordia University, Doane College and Nebraska Wesleyan University) and Elizabeth Grimpo (piano faculty at Concordia University) to present a program of works by Astor Piazzolla, Georges Meister, Luciano Berio, Francois Poulenc and Felix Mendelssohn.

Barnes and Nobles at Zona Rosa

I'll be performing with the Philharmonia of Greater Kansas City's Woodwind Quintet at the Barnes and Nobles at Zona Rosa shopping center for a book fair fundraiser to support the Philharmonia's outreach activities.

As part of the annual Prairie Winds festival at University of Kansas, I'll be performing the bass clarinet parts with the University of Kansas Wind Ensemble to Bob Mintzer's Saxophone Concerto and Leonard Bernstein's "Slava." Also, the concert will feature the University of Kansas Jazz Ensemble I.

An annual tradition, the Kansas City Children’s Choir will join the Philharmonia of Greater Kansas City in a seasonal concert that will include Anderson’s Sleigh Ride and Christmas Festival, as well as a new work, White Winter, by Nathanael Pangrazio.
